LCD SCREEN

An LCD screen works by using liquid crystals that do not emit light themselves but control the passage of light from a backlight. It is made of two layers of polarizing material with a liquid crystal solution between them. When electricity is applied, the crystals align to block or allow light to pass through, creating images.
